Emmy 2018 | Conheça os indicados ao prêmio máximo da televisão
A 70ª edição do prêmio acontecerá no dia 17 de setembro deste ano.
>A Academia de Televisãoanunciou na quinta-feira (12) os indicados ao Emmy 2018, prêmio máximo da televisão americana, que acontecerá na cidade de Los Angeles no dia 17 de setembro. Os destaques dentre as categorias de série dramática foram “Game of Thrones”, com 22 indicações, incluindo Melhor Série, Melhor Ator e Atriz coadjuvante, e “Westworld”, incluindo as categorias Melhor Série e Melhor Ator e Atriz, enquanto “Atlanta” liderou o número de indicações nas categorias de séries de comédia, com 16.
“Game of Thrones”, cuja aguardada última temporada estreia em 2019, teve os atores Nikolaj Coster-Waldau e Peter Dinklage indicados na categoria Melhor Ator Coadjuvante, bem como a atriz Lena Headey na categoria Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante.
A outra série da HBO, “Westworld”, teve sua segunda temporada recém exibida e já possui uma terceira confirmada. Dentre seu elenco, Ed Harris e Jeffrey Wright se destacaram na categoria de Melhor Ator em Série Dramática, enquanto Evan Rachel Wood e Thandie Newton foram lembradas nas categorias de Melhor Atriz em Série Dramática e Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante em Série Dramática, respectivamente.
Após diversas polêmicas em razão de diferenças salariais, a série “The Crown” teve sua dupla Claire Foy e Matt Smith com nomeações para Melhor Atriz em Série Dramática e Melhor Ator Coadjuvante em Série Dramática.
Maior representante da Netflix neste ano, “Stranger Things” teve sua dupla de destaque da segunda temporada, o xerife Hopper e a garota Eleven, interpretados por David Harbour (“Esquadrão Suicida”) e Millie Bobby Brown indicados nas categorias de Melhor Ator e Atriz em série dramática.
A grande vencedora do prêmio em 2017, “The Handmaid’s Tale”, foi lembrada com sua protagonista Elisabeth Moss na categoria Melhor Atriz em Série Dramática e Joseph Fiennes em Melhor Ator Coadjuvante em Série Dramática, enquanto Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd e Yvonne Strahovski receberam nomeações na categoria Melhor Atriz em Série Dramática.
