No último sábado (10), aconteceu a entrega de prêmios do DGA Awards 2021, prêmio do Sindicato de Diretores de Hollywood. Chloé Zhao levou a categoria principal, por “Nomadland”, quase garantindo a vitória no Oscar 2021. Ela foi a primeira mulher não branca a levar o prêmio, e apenas a segunda mulher, depois de Kathryn Bigelow. Darius Marder venceu na categoria de Melhor Direção de Estreia, por “O Som do Silêncio”.
