Aconteceu neste domingo (7) o Critics’ Choice Awards 2021. “Nomadland” segue se provando como o favorito da temporada, garantindo o prêmio principal, Melhor Direção e Melhor Roteiro Adaptado para Chloé Zhao, e Melhor Fotografia. Chadwick Boseman venceu postumamente o prêmio de Melhor Ator por “A Voz Suprema do Blues”. “Promising Young Woman”, no Brasil chamado de “Bela Vingança”, garantiu o prêmio de Melhor Atriz para Carey Mulligan e Melhor Roteiro Original para Emerald Fennell.

Nas categorias de TV, “The Crown” segue vencendo, garantindo as quatro categorias em que estava indicada. “Ted Lasso” surpreende conquistando Melhor Comédia, “O Gambito da Rainha” vence Melhor Minissérie e “Hamilton” vence Melhor Filme para TV.
