Bacurau é indicado a Melhor Filme Internacional no Spirit Awards 2021 – veja lista
Em 2020, foi "A Vida Invisível" que representou o Brasil na premiação.
>Foram divulgados os indicados à 36ª edição do Film Independent Spirit Awards, premiação que honra os melhores filmes independentes da temporada (via IndieWire). A produção brasileira “Bacurau”, dirigida por Kleber Mendonça Filho e Juliano Dornelles, foi indicada na categoria de Melhor Filme Internacional, seguindo os passos de “A Vida Invisível”, que conseguiu a nomeação em 2020.
Nas categorias principais, o longa “Never Rarely Sometimes Always” foi o maior indicado, com 7 nomeações, seguido de “Minari”, com 6, e “A Voz Suprema do Blues” e “Nomadland”, com 5 cada.
Este é o primeiro ano em que a premiação conta também com categorias de TV, o que colocou a Netflix com 15 indicações ao todo.
