Veja a lista de filmes selecionados para o Festival do Rio 2012

400 obras de mais de 60 países participam de um dos festivais mais tradicionais e importantes do País.

O Festival do Rio 2012 reunirá 400 filmes de mais de 60 países, exibidos em cerca de 30 locais e divididos em mais de 20 mostras, distribuídos entre cinemas, arenas e praças da cidade, entre os dias 27 de setembro e 11 de outubro. O público vai poder assistir aos filmes mais comentados da indústria cinematográfica, descobrir raridades, votar no melhor da Première Brasil, participar de debates e de sessões especiais com a presença de personalidades do cinema mundial. O vencedor do Festival de Veneza desse ano, “Pieta” (foto), de Kim Ki-Duk (“Casa Vazia”), foi confirmado no evento.


Além das mostras já conhecidas – Panorama, Expectativa 2012, Première Brasil,  Première Latina, Midnight, Midnight Terror e Midnight Música, Gay, Fronteiras, Dox, Filme Doc, Geração, Itinerários únicos e Meio Ambiente, o Festival presta homenagem a quatro grandes diretores: Alberto Cavalcanti, considerado como o mais internacional dos diretores brasileiros e pouco exibido por aqui: realiza uma retrospectiva do cultuado John Carpenter, o ‘deus vivo dos filmes de terror’; Manoel de Oliveira, com exibição de sete curtas do incansável mestre; e João Pedro Rodrigues, com exibição de nove filmes de sua instigante obra.
